Getting Started

Create Your Team
Sign up and create your first team. Give it a name — this is your racing operation on CuzRacecar. You can create multiple teams later if needed.

Add a Vehicle
Head to the Garage and add your race car. Include the car number, class, make/model, and a photo. You can add multiple vehicles per team.

Add Drivers
Go to your Team tab and add each driver. Mark youth drivers so they get their own stats dashboard and coaching tools.

Log Your First Race
Tap "Log Race" from the home screen. Enter the track, date, driver, vehicle, class, and finishing positions for heats and features.

Invite Your Crew
Go to Team > Invite Member. Send invite links to crew members, family, and sponsors. Each person gets a role that controls what they can see and do.

Race Day
Logging a Race▾
From the home screen, tap Log Race. Select the track (or add a new one), choose your driver and vehicle, then enter qualifying, heat, and feature results. Add weather conditions for setup correlation later.
Sharing Race Results▾
After logging a race, open it from the Races tab and tap Share. This generates a public link anyone can view — great for sponsors and family who want to follow along.
Race Day Info▾
Use the Race Info button to quickly share schedules, heat lineups, feature lineups, pit assignments, and track conditions with your entire team via photo or text.
Team Management
Roles & Permissions▾
CuzRacecar has 7 roles: Owner, Admin, Driver, Crew, Race Logger, Fan, and Sponsor. Owners and Admins can manage the team, finances, and settings. Crew can log races and manage the garage. Fans and Sponsors get read-only access to results and photos.
Inviting Members▾
Go to Team > Invite Member. Enter their email and select a role. They will receive an invitation link. They can also join by entering the invite code directly in the app.
Multiple Teams▾
You can belong to multiple teams — as an owner of one and crew on another, for example. Switch between teams from the home screen.
Garage & Equipment
Vehicle Setup Notes▾
For each vehicle, you can save setup configurations including tire pressures, gear ratios, suspension settings, and more. Review setups alongside race results to find what works at each track.
Tire Tracking▾
Log tire sets by brand, compound, and laps run. See cost per lap and know when tires need replacing. Track multiple sets across different vehicles.
Parts & Maintenance▾
Keep a parts inventory with quantities and costs. Schedule maintenance by race count or date, and get alerts when service is overdue.
Finances
Contingency Tracking▾
Add contingency programs your team is enrolled in. Track decal requirements, registration deadlines, eligible positions, and claim status per race. This is the feature no other platform offers.
Expense Tracking▾
Log expenses by category (tires, fuel, entry fees, parts, etc.) per vehicle or race. Attach receipt photos for your records.
Fee Splitting▾
Split entry fees and race-day expenses across crew members. Track who owes what and who has paid.
Season Budget▾
Set a budget by category and track actual spending against it throughout the season. See projections for remaining races.
Stats & Analytics
Driver Stats▾
Automatic career stats including wins, top 5s, average finish, and DNFs. Compare seasons and see trends over time.
Season Standings▾
Track points standings across multiple series. Add competitors to see where your drivers rank.
Youth Driver Coaching▾
Youth drivers get structured skill assessments across 10 categories. Track improvement over the season with visual progress charts.
Reports & Social
Season Recap▾
Generate a full season report with stats, financials, highlights, and per-driver breakdowns. Great for sponsors and end-of-year reviews.
Social Post Builder▾
Auto-generate race recap posts for Facebook, Instagram, and X. Templates for wins, strong finishes, and milestones. Includes sponsor tags automatically.
Hero Cards▾
Create printable driver profile cards with career stats, awards, and sponsor logos.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is CuzRacecar free?▾
Yes. The free tier includes all features with generous usage limits. Upgrade to Pro when you need unlimited races, crew members, vehicles, and storage.
What platforms is CuzRacecar available on?▾
CuzRacecar has a web app (any browser), an iOS app (iPhone and iPad), and an Android app. Your data syncs across all platforms.
Can I use CuzRacecar offline?▾
Yes. The mobile app queues changes when you are offline and syncs automatically when you get signal. Perfect for tracks with poor reception.
How do I add crew members to my team?▾
Go to Team > Invite Member. Enter their email and choose a role. They will receive an invitation link to join your team.
What racing series does CuzRacecar support?▾
CuzRacecar works with any grassroots or family racing series — dirt track, asphalt, karts, and more. You define your own classes, series names, and tracks.
How does contingency tracking work?▾
Add contingency programs to your team profile. When you log a race, CuzRacecar checks eligible positions and calculates potential payouts. Track claims and payment status in one place.
Can sponsors see my team data?▾
Yes. Invite sponsors with the Sponsor role and they get read-only access to your race results, standings, and photos. You can also generate sponsor reports and proposals.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?▾
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Manage Subscription. If you subscribed via the iOS or Android app, manage it through your device's subscription settings.
Is my data secure?▾
Yes. Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). All API traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. We never sell your data.
How do I delete my account?▾
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
