Getting Started

Create Your Team
Sign up and create your first team. Give it a name — this is your racing operation on CuzRacecar. You can create multiple teams later if needed.

Add a Vehicle
Head to the Garage and add your race car. Include the car number, class, make/model, and a photo. You can add multiple vehicles per team.

Add Drivers
Go to your Team tab and add each driver. Mark youth drivers so they get their own stats dashboard and coaching tools.

Log Your First Race
Tap "Log Race" from the home screen. Enter the track, date, driver, vehicle, class, and finishing positions for heats and features.

Invite Your Crew
Go to Team > Invite Member. Send invite links to crew and family. Everyone you invite joins as a member who can add and edit team data — the one thing you control per person is whether they can see finances.

Race Day
Logging a Race▾
From the home screen, tap Log Race. Select the track (or add a new one), choose your driver and vehicle, then enter qualifying, heat, and feature results. Add weather conditions for setup correlation later.
Sharing Race Results▾
After logging a race, open it from the Races tab and tap Share. This generates a public link anyone can view — great for sponsors and family who want to follow along.
Team Management
Roles & Permissions▾
CuzRacecar has two roles. Owners manage the team — inviting and removing members, transferring ownership, and deleting the team — and always see finances. Members can use every other team feature: logging races, managing the garage, tracking parts and tires, and viewing stats. Money is the one separate permission: each member has a finance-access toggle that controls whether they can see expenses, payouts, sponsorships, and budgets. Everyone you invite can add and edit team data, so only invite people you want editing it.
Inviting Members▾
Go to Team > Invite Member. Enter their email and choose whether they should have finance access. They will receive an invitation link. They can also join by entering the invite code directly in the app.
Multiple Teams▾
You can belong to multiple teams — as an owner of one and crew on another, for example. Switch between teams from the home screen.

Vehicle Setup Notes▾
For each vehicle, you can save setup configurations including tire pressures, gear ratios, suspension settings, and more. Review setups alongside race results to find what works at each track.
Tire Tracking▾
Log tire sets by brand, compound, and laps run. See cost per lap and know when tires need replacing. Track multiple sets across different vehicles.
Parts & Maintenance▾
Keep a parts inventory with quantities and costs. Schedule maintenance by race count or date, and get alerts when service is overdue.
Finances
Contingency Tracking▾
Add contingency programs your team is enrolled in. Track decal requirements, registration deadlines, eligible positions, and claim status per race. This is the feature no other platform offers.
Expense Tracking▾
Log expenses by category (tires, fuel, entry fees, parts, etc.) per vehicle or race. Attach receipt photos for your records.
Season Budget▾
Set a budget by category and track actual spending against it throughout the season. See how much is left in each category at a glance.
Stats & Analytics
Driver Stats▾
Automatic career stats including wins, top 5s, average finish, and DNFs. Compare seasons and see trends over time.
Season Standings▾
Track points standings across multiple series. Add competitors to see where your drivers rank.
Youth Driver Coaching▾
Youth drivers get structured skill assessments across 10 categories. Track improvement over the season with visual progress charts.

Season Recap▾
Generate a full season report with stats, financials, highlights, and per-driver breakdowns. Great for sponsors and end-of-year reviews.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is CuzRacecar free?▾
CuzRacecar starts with a free 28-day trial, no credit card required. Vehicles, crew and races are unlimited during the trial, and it includes 3 receipt scans and 3 schedule scans. After those, scanning needs a paid plan; dyno charts always do. After the trial your team is read-only for 30 days and then locked until you subscribe for $34.99/year or $3.49/mo.
What platforms is CuzRacecar available on?▾
CuzRacecar has a web app (any browser), an iOS app (iPhone and iPad), and an Android app on Google Play. Your data syncs across all three.
Can I use CuzRacecar offline?▾
Partly. The iOS app queues three things when you lose signal — race events you log during a race, expenses, and schedule entries — and sends them automatically once you are back online. Everything else needs a connection. The web app has no offline support.
How do I add crew members to my team?▾
Go to Team > Invite Member. Enter their email and choose whether they should have finance access. They will receive an invitation link to join your team.
What racing series does CuzRacecar support?▾
CuzRacecar works with any grassroots or family racing series — dirt track, asphalt, karts, and more. You define your own classes, series names, and tracks.
How does contingency tracking work?▾
Add contingency programs to your team profile, then log a claim per race with the position, amount and payment status. CuzRacecar reminds you before the claim deadline so nothing expires unclaimed.
Can sponsors see my team data?▾
The best way to share with a sponsor is a sponsor report or proposal, or a public race link — none of which require giving them an account on your team. There is no read-only role: anyone you invite to the team becomes a member who can add and edit team data, so only invite a sponsor if you want them editing alongside you. Finance access is the one thing you control per member.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?▾
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Plan > Manage Billing. If you subscribed via the iOS App Store, manage it through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Is my data secure?▾
Yes. Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain). All API traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. We never sell your data.
How do I delete my account?▾
Go to Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account. Your name, email, password and Apple ID are permanently scrubbed and all tokens revoked straight away. Teams you are the only member of are deleted with their data; teams with other members have ownership passed to the longest-standing member. This cannot be undone.
